1. Book Your Appointment
Our online booking site makes it easy to get started. Clicking "Book Now" will open a new tab where you can select your appointment type. If you've never been seen here before you'll want to select "New Patient Initial Exam".
We also offer free consultations if you're not quite ready to get started but want to meet the doctor and have some questions first. When you select your appointment type you'll then be able to select your appointment time. We strive to minimize wait time for new and established patients alike! After selecting your time, follow the prompts to complete the booking process. And that's it! You did it!
2. Fill Out Intake Forms
Your intake forms will be emailed to you after you book your appointment. Filling out these forms ahead of time helps us be efficient and keeps us running on time. We aim to have our intake process be comprehensive but not cumbersome. These forms can be filled out right from your phone! No paper required.
3. Parking and Entrance
Our office is located at 14 Stebbins Street Unit B in Saint Albans City. We are conveniently located just off of Main Street accross from BFA. You'll turn into the "Northwest Chiropractic". You can park in the front of the building in the spots right when you turn in labeled 1-5 on the wooden posts. When looking at the building, you will enter through the main door, with our signage. Once in the building you'll see our door open on the left.
4. Your First Appointment
When you arrive, take a seat and make yourself comfortable. Dr. Horne will be right with you!
We'll start with a conversation about your health history and what brings you into the office. Next comes your exam, which includes posture and gait analysis, range of motion testing, orthopedic testing, and palpation of the spine and extremities. If the exam shows it would be helpful, we may refer you for x-ray imaging.
We typically don't perform an adjustment on the first visit, since we first want to build your individualized plan of care. Please plan on about 30 minutes for your first appointment.
The initial exam fee is $195. We never want finances to be a barrier to care, so please contact our office or talk with Dr. Horne at your visit to work out an option that fits your budget. Payment plans are also available, and you and Dr. Horne can build one together.
5. Your Second Appointment
At your second appointment, Dr. Horne will review the results of your exam with you and go over any imaging you had done. Our goal is to make sure you fully understand what's causing the issue that brought you in and what it will take to correct it.
Dr. Horne will share her recommendations in the form of an individualized care plan, and together you'll decide what your care will look like: how often you'll be seen, what services will be performed at each visit, when your reassessment will take place, what outcomes we'll track to measure your progress, and which payment option works best for you.

Please plan on about 30 minutes, which gives us time to begin treatment during this visit. This is typically when you'll receive your first adjustment, and you'll be one step closer to results!
6. Follow Up Visits
Routine chiropractic visits for established patients are scheduled for 15 minutes. We run on time to help you keep up with your care plan and achieve the best results possible! Don't forget to take a chocolate on your way out.
